Status: Carrying a heavy heart.
“God loves you. That’s why He tests you.”
Whenever I get tested, I receive messages like this. And as nice as it sounds, I needed some time to process that sentence.
Because you’re in so much pain - heart hurts, mind confused, still trying to process it all. The first thought isn’t that “He loves me.” It seemed contradicting to me. If God loves me, why is He testing me and letting me hurt?
