“Can you take care of my daughter?”
The line every father will ask when a man asks for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
“Yes can,” every eager young man will answer, sponsored by his raging hormones.
But my dad went an extra step. “Since you want to take care of her, then I want to see your marriage cashflow,” he told Fadza.
“My what?” 24-year old Fadza asked.
