#38 When two hearts clash.

This is when you know you have too much time. When you start thinking about what your friend did to you years ago - the issue was not resolved and it tugs at your heart from time to time.

Although I guess we’re only human, so feelings can come uninvited, and you can’t seem to shoo it out the door.

I hate it when that happens. Because out of nowhere, syaitan comes and whispers to you telling you to dwell some more and be angry and think bad thoughts about this person(s).

And because we feel victimized, it’s so much easier to keep hurting. When really, the perpetrator has moved on with life. But here we are, still dwelling alone. So the only loser here is really.. us.

I’ve been hurt many times before (hello Twitter, hello Threads), but nothing cuts deeper than being hurt by people you actually know. Maybe sometimes they’re even someone close. Out of the blue, one thing happens, things flip upside down and you’re left with questions unanswered.

Recently, one incident played in my mind a lot.
